| Housing
- There are so many things
you can house them in. We sell several kinds of escape proof
set ups or you can just use a fish tank or a Rubbermaid container.
We use cypress mulch on the bottom about 5"- 6" and empty
egg crate containers laid on top of mulch.
Hissers
- We
recommend wiping a 3" Vaseline ring whipped on the top of
the cage so they don't escape. But don't worry there are
many kinds that cant climb glass. We also use about 1/2 as much
mulch for them and stack the egg crate containers instead.

| Feeding
- The
better you feed them the better
they will do. We feed ours Fresh veggies- carrots, celery,
lettuce, squash, ect. A verity basically and a high quality
dry dog food. We feed ours every couple of days and only feed
them what they will eat. Don't let food rot or get moldy. |
| Watering
- Some people keep small shallow
dishes of water with some thing in it ( sponge , rocks or wood )
so they can get out if they fall in. We don't We
mist the sides of the container and egg crates every couple of days
instead and it work greet for us. But be careful not to over
mist them they cant swim. |
|
Temp - 75
- 88 deg. Even though they can handle cold temps. for short
times. Like shipping. We find they do better and reproduce
faster if kept warm. We heat the room they are kept
in to 86 deg. and that works greet for us. But if
you don't have a room that worm don't worry.
You can use a reptile under tank heat or a heat pad and that will
work fine.
